GEI hosted the 2019 InnoStars Sino-US Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Advanced Manufacturing Sections)

Novemver 2019 -  In September 2017, the first round of Sino-US social and human dialogue, co-chaired by Vice Premier Liu Yandong and US Secretary of State Tillerson, listed the InnoStars Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition as one of the priorities of Sino-US science and technology innovation cooperation. Since then, GEI has participated in the hosting of the tournament for two consecutive years.

This year, nearly thousands of United States corporations and start-up teams participated in the registrations of the Competition, in which almost 1/10 of them are in the advanced manufacturing section. After preliminary rounds, 16 projects were chosen for the finals, hosted in Shenyang Hunnan District on Nov 4th. Each contesting group participated in a 7- mins presentation and a 5-mins Q&A section regarding their projects, industry, market forecast, primary competition, business model. Original Biomedical Implants won the first place, PhysioCue achieve the second, and Elsius Biomedical won the third.
