Mato Grosso Seeks China's Cooperation in Agricultural Science and Technology Through GEI

On February 25th, a delegation from Mato Grosso visited GEI, seeking cooperation in the construction and management training of science parks, and hoping to establish relations with local agricultural science and technology enterprises in China. Mato Grosso is located in the west of Brazil, with an area of about 900,000 square kilometers and a total population of about 3 million. It is the most important producing area of agriculture ad stockbreeding in Brazil, and also the export base to China. Mato Grosso is planning to build a science park focusing on agricultural science and technology, hoping to cultivate and introduce agricultural science and technology enterprises. Mr. Wang Fenyu, deputy general manager of GEI, attended the meeting. He introduced GEI’s rich experience in the fields of science and technology park research and innovative enterprise cultivation to Brazilian representative, and recommended several national high-tech zones and unicorn enterprises. Brazilian representatives highly recognized the professional strength and resource network of GEI, and expressed an interest in the CISIP with the hope of communicating with more Chinese science and technology parks through GEI.
