Pakistan National Science Park announces joining "Community of International Science-Industry Parks"

October 6, 2021, Pakistan's National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) officially announced on several official social media that it has joined the "CISIP"which is jointly launched by GreatWall Strategy Consultants, domestic and foreign Science parks and innovation institutions. NSTP will participate in a series of research, exchange and sharing as well as innovation resource link activities organized by CISIP in the future, and carry out practical cooperation with China's first-class science and technology parks through the CISIP platform, such as park cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship collaboration, cross-border development of enterprises, science and innovation cultural exchanges.

Officially established in 2019 with a total investment of over 80 billion PKR (Pakistan Rupees), the Pakistan National Science and Technology park is the first comprehensive science park and high-tech Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Pakistan. The national Science and Technology Park has established a spiral development mode of "industry + academia + government + public society", aiming to foster innovation-led high-tech industrial entities and accelerate the development of Knowledge economy in Pakistan.  More than 100 companies, including startups and multinationals from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and Switzerland, are currently living in the park, covering eight sectors including agriculture, automotive manufacturing, education, energy, fintech, healthcare, artificial intelligence and defense.

Community of International Science-Industry Parks (CISIP) is a non-profit International NGO Community organization jointly launched in 2019 by GreatWall Strategy Consultants and Sci&Tech parks and innovation institutions at home and abroad. The Community aims to foster cooperation among science parks in countries along the Belt and Road, promote entrepreneurial innovation synergy, cross-border development and Science innovation and cultural exchange, and create a win-win pragmatic cooperation platform. CISIP at present has obtained clear support from 40 international Sci&Tech industrial parks and innovation institutions of 24 countries, and has initially formed influence and appeal in the world science and technology park filed.
